In my eyes aoc has redeemed itself in almost everything it failed at during release. It has fixed its performance issues, and pretty much all other things that were wrong with it.

Getting new gear in itself adds stats, so either way when you go up in rr levels your going to get more powerfull, just not in the same way.

I wouldnt worry too much about the game being populated, with the amount of work thats been done to it, and the amount of just all around fun and coolness of it, I'm sure it wont be like vg and only have higher lvl toons hanging out.
