If I use XP, the maximum RAM that will matter is 2G right? Also, I'm not using the MBP, but the regular alum macbook.

Argh then I'll have to buy a new computer since you can't upgrade the processor/video card on a laptop as far as I know...or can you? I guess adding ram will not be enough
