1 any1 gay if against my religon. 2. dont bring this gays rights crap into games. they are called games for a reason >< . Games (MMOS) are not dating grounds are not sum worthless social network like facebook or myspace. they are for gamers to have fun. wheter ur married or not its way to get away from the Real World and all issues you may have. Heres my opinion and i only read a few replys to this stuff. if the gay players wants to have gay marriages ingames. Then i suggest then make 1 for themselfves. Because in today's games/ Marrirage means 0 . its about the pve/pvp fun. not finding chick or dudes n gettin hitched. and The day games turned into a dumb *hey ur kool lets get hitched* and all that other crap added. is the day MMO's will die off and never return. And im serious Gay is against my religion. Dont care for them n dont talk to them. (but incase some1 says im descriminating) i dont hate gay people. i just completley disagree with it as it is not gods way. Have a Nice Day.
Just curious, but what do you care if it's in one of you're games or not? How does that change your gamming experience. You don't need to have a gay marraige in a game, then don't! Why does it matter to you either way?
Its against my religion and gods way period. Also games are not SOCIAL HOOK UP SITES. Games are made to have fun. not find ur next date and get hitched.
Honestly I don't think you're being serious... I'm straight, christian myself, and I'm not even that closed-minded to understand that everyone should have an option and choices. Besides I've played many a game where I'd seen gay guilds and the like. So wether a game has a "gay marraige" mechanic to design or not is abritary in the end.

I sincerely hope not. My kids do not need to hear that being gay even exists or is even a valid option.
Gay people deserve nothing more than to stfu and be gay, leave the rest of the world out of it. I do not hate gays and I am not religious, but I don't think its right when gays try to make it an accepted part of life when it's CLEARLY not!.
Pro's of being Gay: You can quit being insecure about never getting a woman (I would bet 50% became gay due to this), and you don't have to deal with nagging, expensive women.
Cons of being Gay: You have to deal with sensitive men(gotta be even worse than a nagging woman), You won't ever have kids and will discontinue your blood line (including future versions of yourself?), and you get an abused asshole (have fun with that lol).

What an adult decides to do with another consenting adult is sacrosant, whatever it might mean. That's why so many christian saints were enormous sinners BEFORE they realized, OUT OF THEIR OWN FREE WILL the way to true grace.
The very BASIS of christian ethos is the choice between right and wrong, good and evil. If you take away the choice you're taking away the hope of redemption itself, because being "good" or "moral" without the option to reject it is completely meaningless. That is what all the abrahamite religious fundamentalists got all wrong and fu****d up. If you take away adam's children the choice between god and evil and FORCE them to do "good" you're actually making them all evil and insincere in the eye of God. Freedom of choice is what defines us as god's children. There cannot be redemption without sin, and there can't be the reward of heaven if the "goodness" is forced or indoctrinated. How can you know if you are "good" if no other choice has been presented to you? The freedom to choose between good and evil with the consequences in the eyes of the God is the basis of christianity and what we call western civilization.
All the rest is an abomination, degradation of god's image to the state of a blind beast who doesn't know better and is thus deemed soul-less. It's nazism, totalitarianism and ultimately self-defeating because the man cannot ever know whether his "goodness" comes out of his own inner power or it is something forced on him due to his weakness.
Soul = choice = freedom.
Lucifer is God's most favored angel and yet he is still cast down the fiery pit of hell. Ponder this and you'll understand the basis od christian morality and the concept of free will which ultimately came out of it and built this civilization that enables us morons from across the world to bicker over some trivialities using something called the "internet".

Back on the topic, IMO if there is marriage in the game then there should be gay marriage too unless it's against the lore.

As for me, I'm pro-gay (and a heterosexual to boot!) so that isn't an issue. Marriage in a game... if it's just a different way to provide buffs, I'm against it. Then it becomes a situation where you have to do this to compete. If not, then I won't care. I'm a roleplayer eitherway and have RP'd marriages before so nyeh.
As for the derailed topic, to those saying "gay is wrong because religion/voters say so!" please stop. If you're incapable of explaining a belief calmly and rationally without resorting to the escape of "because someone else/some group told me so," then I would completely suggest re-evaluating this belief.

I have explained it rationally on the last page from my own logical common sense. I am also Pro-gay as well since its the safest form of population control that exists. I will just never consider it acceptable, it has no place in the cycle of life.
Well, most 'advanced' mammals have a certain percent of individuals who are homosexual, so it must have some sort of place in the 'cycle of life'.
My personal opinion is that I do not want to see any sort of official marriage in my MMO of choice, gay straight or interspecies, or whatever. Marriage, families, etc I do not want to see in my MMO, I get enough of those IRL.
Meh, a lot of straight player have female char, so it's all gay if ya think about it. Personally I hate gays..I have nothing against homosexuals, its those damn gay spawn campers that piss me off!
