It is strange that if you don’t like the great landscape artists like Turner no tells you that you are a modern-ist. So how come when you don’t like something that is not made by those of your culture then it must indicate racism or some sort of cultural anxiety? Maybe people who don’t like impressionism are worried that age of history was better than our own?
Or maybe they just don’t like it and it means nothing other than that? As you might have guessed this is what I believe. It may be incredibly trendy to scrutinise every aspect of our lives through the world of “Isim’s” especially if the points of view expressed differ from yours. But you are just finding points of view not your own then putting a label on them to make them seem wrong. Such preaching only obscures issues, it does not enlighten them.
I like anime and manga styles but I am not that big a fan of Transformers. Maybe I am a transformerist or something.
