I did read that WAR will have a recall item to teleport to the last visited city so that will be nice.
A MMO is very much for me. I've spent many hours in games like CoX, Guild Wars and Tabula Rasa where travel isn't a major time sink. It can be done without being a detriment to the game.
For those of us who may be able one to get on and play for 30 minutes, we can't afford to take 15 minutes to get somewhere. I understand some shape of realism is needed, but there comes a point to where it's a nuisance.
Will a majority of the areas be on the game CD so that it can be installed instead of downloaded? If so this would help and you would only need to stream in updates
Competition begets lower pricing. Without stiff competition, then prices will rise. Unless they view places like WalMart and Best Buy as competition, then they'll have to drop prices even more.
They are different games, but I think GW is made for a player like me. I like getting into a game, playing for a little while, accomplishing something, then leaving. GW has alot less downtime than WoW which will allow me to do that
