I also would recommend Rappelz, it really is worth trying in my opinion. I also liked 9 Dragons, but it got pretty boring pretty quickly... Yeah, unless you really love martial arts and stuff, it may not be worth trying.

I was too lazy to read the whole thread, but... I think it would be a better idea to just have it so when you die, you can come back after 24 hours. That gives it some risk, but still doesn't make you lose everything in an accident.
