  • How does the future of Mortal Online look? Are the devs actually listening to the players and trying to improve the game? Or are they "fixing" things that everyone is fine with while ignoring long overdue problems? The core of the game seems too g…
  • Originally posted by Stowaway I want to duck behind burnt out vehicles, throw a gas grenade through a window and glass shatter as I follow it up by spraying by sub automatic across the shed that my enemy is hiding in.I want to force him out and be s…

  • Drugs in general are a good idea. Of course with side affects to go with the bonus's.
  • Hopefully they learned something from Valve and will self publish this game. Publishers ruin games.

  • Sure, too much realism would make the game boring. But too much fantasy would make the game childish, ie Mario. We need to find a good medium. Compairing Mario Bros. to a MMORPG in development is like compairing a Model-T to a Viper. For an MMORPG …

  • Its weird for me because of my playstyle. I'm a hardcore RPer. If I find a good group I could be totally in character for my whole life in FE. But I also like to be able to fight whomever I want, whenever I want. Nothing makes RPing gayer than havin…

  • Yeah! I'll be a made man in no time!
  • One penalty I think is a must in this game for dying is inventory loss. Temp stat loss, temp skill loss, and all that other junk is just an annoyance. Losing items will make you think twice about doing something stupid and risky.

  • I wouldnt mind running across and old faded Coca-Cola billboard in game. But if theres a brand new billboard in the middle of the busiest town with a real company on it, I think it'd take away from the atmosphere.
  • Awsome link! My favorite: "Two, four, six, eight, When outgunned, Negotiate." -Fred the Singing Bandit I could see myself using almost every "Fred the Singing Bandit" quote while playing fallen earth.

  • I hope armor does SOMETHING in this game. Buy a kevlar vest in CS. Its pretty useless. Sure it helps with nades and sometimes headshots, but 2-3 chest shots still kill you. Doesnt that defeat the perpose of a kevlar vest? I hope its like how other, …
  • Yeah you'r right. I thought you ment the apraise skill would give you some kind of table with damage, distance, and rate of fire. But if its just for weapon quality I can see it happening. But instead of just apraise, I say have gun maintenance. Ap…
  • Dont think thats really needed for this game. Sure when your playing a game with magic swords and bows...you really cant tell whats powerful and what isnt by simply looking. But when you take a game with guns and ammo, its not hard to tell how power…
  • I think FoM's mistake was the game revolves around factions. For one, you HAVE to join one at character creation. No standing neutral in this game. So as soon as you step into the world, you have enemies from opposing factions who want you dead, sim…
  • Lowered abilities will just have the same affect as not beign able to log on. Nobody will want to do anything besides stand in town square causing lag, in fear of dying again for another ability loss. Things like this also turn people off of games.…
  • I like the new body suggestion. Although XP loss wont really do anything since levels are not really all that important. Do we all agree that equipment loss is logical?
  • I hear ya. I think people who are fed up with the ultra-carebear games of today will try this game out. Plus a break from swords and magic is allways nice.

  • I have an idea that came to me when I was commenting to your Perks for Killing section. If you defeat someone in combat, that shouldn't mean they are dead right out. They should fall to the ground, unable to continue in combat. At this point they ca…
