if you did do this i would suggest putting ur shaman/oracle into the merc room. i have seen it work well sometimes but not alot

it doesnt depend on their level because indepence is a chosen thing. it isnt automaticly given (this is done through a NPC called fugger near lisbon) but other than that i'm not sure if when they hit age 60 their retried or not

Nope. got my swordmain to 74 and its worthwhileness is failing. currently leveling two axe mains. one for me and one for a friend, both in the higher 20's atm

Yes. what the parties "avatar" looks like is randomed and so is the mobs contained within

their isnt much known about the age of your mercs except when they become indepedent they will stop sending you items when their 60 years old. (independence can be declare when they are level 100 and have no items on them at all including eqs)

the curse filter isnt broken, it just must have defaulted to the "off" setting, you can find this under settings -> system i believe

i believe all you gain is the title, tho you might gain a small amount of exp aswell

if i remember correctly it can be crafted with a high level in medicine crafting, but i think its also rather expensive

you can create 3 different characters but they dont share the same level, one can be level 50 and another can be 15. but with the oracle it doesnt reset your level but it changes your class

Sorry to burst your bubble but shamans cannot revive during battle. they do have a skill called "noble sacrifice" that kills then but heals every member of the party every round. and theirs a scroll that can revive ur party? wow, never heard of that…
