If u think is doomed, dont buy it. Just read and search about it, and see if "feets u".

EVE is a fantastic game if you take the time to learn how to play it. Its learning curve is very steep though...

Considering neither AoC or WAR have failed...I'm confused about your point......

You mean will Aion have 150 to 300k subs thus being an average mmo?

Or do you mean that the mmo players who 'wish' that Aion will beat WoW in subs will fail in their attempt at predicting the future?

The game didn't launch yet, so hard to tell.

Its always hard to tell prior to a games release . The difference between Aion and AoC is that in beta it was obvious that it was nt going to be ready by the release date . The difference between Aion and Warhammer if that its not its not misconcieved . The only game i could liken it to before its release is Warcraft  not specifically in terms of its gameplay but its a well developed game . Also the general buzz surrounding Aion really has nt been seen since WoW . It may not be something that appeals to the pve audiance and the lack of elves etc may not appeal . But most of us play games for the gameplay not what it looks like and whether it has certain races etc .Its proberbly not (but not definatly not) a WoW killer but its the closest thing to date .

    Answer: no

Aion is already doing well elsewhere. So there is your answer. Easy question.

    Warhammer has two "A"s.

Age of Conan has two "A"s.

World of Warcraft has two "A"s.

    Aion has one "A".

See what I did there? Aion can't fail like WAR and AoC neither succeed like WoW!

I guess it depends on your definition of fail.  Based on what I would guess would be their business model the game is already a success.  Aion is not being targetted towards the Western market like Warhammer and AoC were.  Rather Aion's business model is likely much more like Lineage and FF11s business models where they make their money from the Asian market first and foremost and only add a little extra from the western market.  With Aion's success in Asia already and the fickle nature of western PvP players the safest place to concentrate their energy is Asia with our market just being a small added profit.  The question is will they support the game better in the western market than they did with L2?

lol i am sick of retarded people.  who the fuck knows?! its not even out yet!  play it and if u dont like it dont play it.  its that simple.

like i said before there are games that you know are going to fail by beta testing it

    Momo sucks, I have proof.

by beta testing it? jesus man do every future game a favor and never beta test.  you do know what beta testing is right?.......TESTING an uncomplete game and making it better.  if you judge a game by a beta test then....just quit.  quit playing games all together.

When I am crafting in Aion, I play EVE in the back ground.

EVE is very easy,  it did not take me long to learn it.  Don't glorify the game.

Please tec. Eve is one of the hardest mmo's to learn. Again its not hard to learn being a carebear in high sec mining like a mindless drone. Everyone should listen to someone who plays a game in the background. Stay in high sec and off forums.

    Well mr. troll, no.

    Zorgo's got it right.

WAR didn't fail, AoC didn't fail, Aion won't fail.

Aion already has a reported 3.5 million subs in other markets. Clearly you seem to think that a game only "passes" if it reaches 10 million subs. Only one game ever did this, thus it is comparitively an aberration. For you to think this, means you are either foolish and don't know the first thing about which you're talking, or a troll.

Off topic, but was this graph made by a 12 year old? Unless you're involved in some advanced physics, time shouldn't depend on anything.

AOC is failing because of the CIA type hiding of information during beta and im serious we would make post about bugs or what is wrong and they would be gone 5 minutes later.  They didnt care what we said or did or bugged because they didnt care about tester feedback  this is why AOC failed after launch and yes I call losing 50% of your subscriptions failing.   Now the game has 300k probably still so it is a sucessful MMORPG but it failed its fan base with lies.   WAR lol i so seen it coming during beta and i told everyone who asked why it wouldnt have a high renew rate for people because it would get old fast and look what happen it got old.

Aion who knows if it has the lure to keep people playing.  In korea it does. in NA maybe or maybe not.

From what ive seen in the Aion beta it is in better shape than AOC was at release. Cant speak for Warhammer at release but as laggy as it was two weeks ago when my sub ended i would say Aion is in better shape than it was as well. If it will maintain a player base, i think it will , how big is another question that i dont think anyone can answer at this point.
