I don't see the issue here. It's nothing more than what we already knew. BioWare is targeting their KOTOR audience, and for me that is just fine.

I wouldn't worry about it, none of them play MMOs and/or are not good at them. That's why they sit here virtually slashing their wrists. They're the rejects of the MMO world, they're not wanted, it's why they try to get attention.

your assumptions of how this all will work out only as a solo thing are merely asumptions, wait till it goes to demo before you say this or that will suck or rock. This is what is killing mmo's, assuming to much far to soon.

Hmm ... 1769 posts with an account thats 3 months or so old, 2 star rating and has the word "greed" in the account name. Having read your 2 replys, I got to say you pretty much are the posterchild for why people want to play solo in MMO's rather than having to deal with people of your..ahem..quality.

i absolutely cant wait to play this game. im going to play this game so damn hard my computer is going to melt. im buring 3 weeks of vacation when this game comes out so i can damn near play it 24/7 for 3 weeks. also, i dont think bioware or EA cares if anyone in this thread chooses to play this game or not as the number of people in this thread is beyond a minute portion of subs.

i have to play at launch or beta no question. As far as i knew i was told the companion character were only supposed to be able to be brought out one at a time just for a counter balance to your abilities such as a tank for a mage or a dps for a healer.
guess I was wrong. going to wait to see more.

Do people still flock to Horkathane's threads? This guy proclaims every game god of the future of MMOs, then decries every game as evil and failure later once it does something he does not like.
Star Wars: The Old Republic is the only game I am actively looking forward to at this point, but I am saddened to see we attracted Hork...

Ummm... what "mode" are they breaking exactly? Its a single player game with co-op that will charge me 15 bucks a month. I guess you could call the 15 bucks part breaking the mode since all co-ops games are free to play online.
Welp this officially does it for me. If any bioware devs just happen to read this. I think you guys really missed the mark on a design that really could have rivaled wow. This tital was pretty much the only game that had a real chance to do so.
Listen man, This is a mmo with the ability to fufill your destiny as the center of the universe and group. I didnt say you could not group but for those who have problems or not the time grouping you dont have to. This is a Serious MMORPG. I do predict with Dragon ages success and the amount of content everyone is crying over spilled milk. You are going to fall in love with this, its the next level its EQ1 all over again! Someone screenshot this because I call it the next age of mmo gaming.
2010, since eq released in 1999 the magic has never been recaptured, it is time now a new decade and Bioware will userp Sony and THIS WILL be the new EQ! Make no mistake about it!
A game like Dragon Age can never be the wow killer. Simply because the mob wants easy, accessible games where they can flash their loot and raid all week.
This will be a story driven game and will have a community as big as LoTRO at best. It will be a game for roleplayers and in the style of Bioware, full of conversations options and lore.
