Honorable Mention: Vanilla WoW - I really enjoyed Vanilla WoW. Each expansion seemed to kill it a little bit more for me. Just not interested in the direction the game has gone.
3. This is a toss-up, but I'd say either Atlantica Online or Vanguard. I wish more people played Vanguard, but a group-based game with nobody to group with just has absolutely no hope.
WoW- However I'm burnt out, got to easy, now its just for kids.
D&D Online- Before it went free to play. I may go back as a monthly sub player and join the secret guilds that don't play with the free players.
Vanguard- Came back since it only has one server. This game is not well populated, regardless of the next 5 post that say its not. NOTE: best to play with a friend, after level 20 it's hard to solo.
1. EverQuest - up until SoD (from '99 quit in '08 was a hardcore raider & grouper)
2. WoW (subbed but very casual solo player)
3. City of Heroes (loved the game but the instances & missions got overly repetitive so I never stayed subbed long, want it to go F2P so I can play it on a sometime basis more flexibly)
1. UO - Pre Trammel - Would of had to played to understand how open the game truely was. Looting, getting looted, PvP was all good. Oh, housing..real housing.
Nada, nothing, zilch... After the first two everything else has been a complete disappointment.
I can only hope that something on the horrizon will be able to compare to the greatness of either of those two games. I'll be trying Final Fantasy XIV, Guild Wars 2, and Star Wars: The Old Republic... one of them may deserve a top three spot, we'll just have to wait and see.
world of warcraft (though getting dull thesedays) however nothing is comming out to come close to competing with this one.
Dark Age of Camelot (left at 2nd expansion release, played once since and game looked extreamly dated in every way, though RvR is still the best to date)
Lord of the Rings online (though now its gone F2P and item mall i wont be going back)
Just trying to live long enough to play a new, released MMORPG, playing New Worlds atm
