    To be honest when posing a question like "Could the hype be real this time?" what possible useful discussion would occur?  Yes the hype is real?  No the hype is not real?

    The topic was built for blind support, venting dissapointments, and emotion because that is the very nature of "hype."  By definition, this thread could go no other direction than devolve based on the topic at hand...

    GW2 "built from the ground up with microtransactions in mind"
    1) Cash->Gems->Gold->Influence->WvWvWBoosts = PAY2WIN
    2) Mystic Chests = Crass in-game cash shop advertisements
