We are most spoiled generation, whe have no idea what we want, but we need to complain about something- that is sure
There are some good points in that article, but I don't see a point in comparing every game with WoW.
I am ex wow player and I quit because I got bored from playing one same game over and over. I don't say it's bad, but after 2 years I decided to qu…
For me It would be mmo that doesn't force me to do this and that, one that is balanced in PvP, got good graphic (doen't have to be amazingly good) and finally- mmo that doesn't force me to grind in one zone 10 days in order to level up.
It depends on mood, but most of the times I like my oponenets to be equal.
But on laid back sunday evenings, I just wanna join some large group, and go hunt and beat the **** out of small ungeared grups
I think that in couple of years we will witness something like "next generation MMOs". They will probably be with highly detailed characters, indoors and outdoors. This flood with "same" MMO games will stop as soon as someone come up with that type …
Some of my friends already pre ordered rift, and I am about to do it too.
Game looks really good at this point and it will probably stay that way, since release is less than 3 months away.
To me, it looks like it could be a big player in MMO wor…

Crafting in Aion was frustrating, grinding for couple of days to get mats for new weapon, and than fail on crafting and puff... item and mats are gone... plus it was waaaay to expensive to level up skills.
One I really loved was jewelcrafting in w…
I am waiting for one too. I think it would have huge playerbase... if they dont srew it up... but lets's hope whoever make it (if anyone does) wont think about money only, and focus on creating good game.
I get this mail every day, sometimes I even get 2-3 mails in one day.
I must admit that they look pretty much realistic... But stil clicking on any link I get in my mail is my character's suicide.

I am excited for several reasons.
First- Hack n slash sounds like great stress releif. Second-developed by ex blizzard workers:) and third- Frogster is running the show, and they did great job with runes of magic cash system... so them might do ev…
My only goal in every MMO I've played was - reach max lvl and join PvP- get best PvP gear. Never been too much interested in fighting scripted repeatitive npc's, having real human with unpredicteable brain brings me real challenge.
It sounds like MMO released by Total War makers (Rome Total War, Medieval TW...) It would be something worth playing.
Massive armie combats under Alexander the great, Cesar, Atila the Hun... But Im sure someone will make this game, if they allread…
In 2010. WoW, Aion, Allods Online, Runes of Magic.
In 2011. Currently downloading dynasty warriors online, seems like nice game, so I'm gonna give it a try.
running around for hours and not finding what you are looking for can be frustrating for many people, and that is why communities complained, and MMO's introduced modern GPS systems. It seems that everyone is happy with it now... but there will be a…
You should try Aion, I thik it got all aspects of your "ideal" MMO, I couldnt play it anymore and had to quit, because it consumed too much time, and going from 39 to 40 was taking forever:)

I dont think I would quit if they make game a bit easier, and reason they are doing this is because they get even more playersand not less. we are living in a fast world now, and vast majority of players (and those who wanna play) got 1 hour of spa…
I really liked Allods when I tried it, and I spent about 2 months playing, but then patch with cursed items came out, and few days after, I died and my blue 2H sword got cursed. Since I had another blue item (2H Axe) I replaced it and moved on... I …
When I was entering stoemwind / wow for the very first time, music I heard gave me some epic thrill, and I think it is the music that made that moment most rememberable in my MMO experience until today.
