I firmly believe that the MMO market is satiated with Fantasy MMOs. When TOR is released it will be the only blockbuster alternative genre MMO on the market so I assume the chance for success is much higher than for the recent fantasy semi-failures.

I tend to agree. World of Warcraft is clearly headed the casual route. But still I think the only game able to kill WoW (or take significant market share off it) will be the next Blizzard MMO.
