I don't find this surprising considering the fan base that was already established through the Elder Scrolls single player games. Good for them though. ESO is an all around decent game with no glaring problems.

Out of the million WoW clones that were coming out at that time RoM was one that I actually found decent. Haven't heard anything about it in years though.
I will never again support a game through monetary means until it is released and I'm happy with the reviews. I've just been burnt one too many times and early access/beta is not important enough to me.

I'm going to try it but I'm not holding my breath. Frankly, the only game of Blizzard's I spent a significant amount of time on was WoW. As far as FPS goes, this one seems rather shallow in terms of progression.
@Amjoco ....I agree. After spending the better part of 2015 just waiting for something new to grab my interest I realized I had to accept what was out or move on. Went into GW2 for the second time with a different mindset and having a blast.
I didn't mind the combat in WS. Honestly it was the questing....getting handed 35 quests at once from every outpost I came across was a little overwhelming.
