  • player housing and stuff is coming in soon according to the state of the game post Er, no.  What they said was, it's being worked on, for 'someday'.  'Soon' is really, really unlikely.  A year from now, maybe.
  • At this time, Achievements aren't even visible to others, much less give you any benefits. All they do is count up points in a total, that you can see.  The points, at least now, do nothing.  The 'titles' of achievements aren't visible to others.
  • Being added to live server today, if it doesn't crash and burn on attempted liftoff.
  • Crafters make a living?  Yes.   Get 'filthy rich'?  No.
  • You have a limited number of chat messages PER LOGON, on a trial account.  100 messages, specifically. It's not a cumulative limit, just each time you log on, you can do 100 messages before being muted for that logon.
  • Gear eventually moves to military looking armor, at higher levels.   A lot of the headgear in early beta used batting helmets as a placeholder, those have been replaced with 'real' headgear, now.
  • The dev response to 'end game' questions was 'what end game?'.   The intent, as last mentioned, is for levels to reach at least 90.    Current cap is 46.    We aren't AT the 'end game', and won't be for some time. Wheel spinning: Yes, folks are 'g…

  • You gain 2 AP every 20% of a level, so basically 10AP per level. Roughly 1250ish AP total you can earn in the game if you do all the quests. ----------- No. You get 2 AP per TENTH of a level, for 20 AP per full level, not counting any 'extra' A…
  • The original 2000 keys were all given away. But, it seems that as of today, they have ANOTHER 2000 keys to give away.   So check the give away page, and you may find you can still get one.
  • Originally posted by Fuggo Go for the Hat. First get a horse from the turial quest (around lvl 2) and around lvl 5 you can build a Horse that is much better. And with First Aid skills (skill points 24 & 27) you can heal your horse and give it…
  • The more recent dev statements indicate they no longer plan to have 10 sectors (eventually) nor level 150, but more likely level 90 before the 'way we advance' may change to some different style. Sector 4 is AFTER the 1.5 patch, last I heard. Mo…
  • In fact, yes, the rules about language apply to all chat channels. It's simply far more likely that you'll be CAUGHT on the Help Channel. The GM's will enforce the rules on region, local, auction, and clan, too.   Mostly, that would happen only …
  • Vehicle speeds, besides being balance related, are limited by the minimum system specs.   Anything past 49 kph would require higher minimum specs, according to the devs. Shot at 100 meters -  Really?   There might be one rifle with 80 meter range,…
  • Also unmentioned in the patch notes, the 'hesitation' after jumping has been removed, replaced by a 'you can't jump for a few steps after a jump' requirement.   You no longer stop in place at the end of a jump.
  • Be careful planning on a 'mutation damage' character, however.   Since the devs have stated they intend mutations to be a secondary damage method, always beaten at DPS by weapons, if really effective mutation builds appear, you can probably expect n…
  • While you can make a healing oriented character, they're not generally needed.   Most builds have their own healing, and need little outside help with it. Everyone can, for instance, use medical and food items to gain quite a lot of HP/sec regener…
  • Forgot to mention (I don't PvP myself, I forget stuff), there are also some anti-griefing things in game, which may or may not actually do much about griefing, but: If you are significantly higher level that someone you kill, you get a debuff on y…

  • PvP in Fallen Earth is confined to specific areas, approximately 25-30% of the total game world area, and always designed so no one is 'required' to enter those areas. When in a PvP area, all characters are valid targets (though there may be penal…

  • We will have to wait just short of two more months before we can say how the game is, 6 months after launch. It only launched just over four months ago.
