I am a ranged DPS player too. My advice for now would be to go as a socerer, i tried both out in beta and i found socerer much more fun and stronger then a magus.... Though a magus does look very cool!

It's not your disks that are the issue...i thought that but knew it couldn't of been.... Delete it all and try installing to another hard drive if you can.

Hey, I fixed it this way. Delete everything on your computer slightly WAR related....this means putting out a search for WAR on the whole computer. With that done i closed down the auto load on the cd, went into my computer and right click run…

Yeah...i've tried that one too sadly and no cigar I've been told to make sure i have no remains of any old installs or files etc...so clear all directory of wars charred remains. Will give this a blast and try later....so frustrating.
