Well, supposedly WoW Open beta will comeout the same time that EQ2 goes retail which I heard is nov 8th. OB is just a marketing scheme, they don't need open beta.

in the stress test for WoW I only visited the forums when the game was down and posted about how great the game was and how much fun I was having. I never complained although I did ridicule some of the whiners.

do you mean level 15 in WoW? they have a level curve that makes it slow down on levelling as you get to the higher levels. I got to 18 in a week and that's not even playing too much.

you need a US IP as they will be blocking euro IP addy's also you need to pay in US dollars, maybe with the help of a friend in the states. then you will be playing in the US!

anyway, forums are a magnet for whiners. they get bored or tore up by something and run to the forums to whine. You may not even hear from the people who love it.

good point. Wc2 had 'em before EQ. but anyway... I'm sure both will have content updates. new stuff added, you may not even have to buy an expansion to get some! In WoW they will be adding stuff later on they can't squeeze into launch.

what game gets released anyway without being finished *coughpetermolyneauxcough* I'll take it now and pay and get updates down the road. Blizzard though may not let that fly. I think it would take external pressure for that to happen.
