    Yeah thats going off of what Tasos says you think i believe anything that lying BSer says, He has lied threw his teeth SO many times ill believe this UNTESTED Content patch will be flawless see most games open a TEST server not Tasos he tests in office and RElease the next day.

    Along with them saying yeah 1 month after NA server launch we will do transfers about 5 months later he really dos it.

    im not gonna sit here and list all the lies he has told and promises that where complete crap.

    I havent tried MO yet but from what i;ve read I would say DF over MO since in my experience with sandbox games they normally take a while after release to be atleast decent.

    DF has been out a decent amount of time and is still trying to be more than a average game.

    Give MO a year and maybe we could compare them fairly.

    Tough call. There are so many factors in each game that others are missing. I can only account for the time that I played the games, but I don't think I had ever imagined something like DAOC until I had seen it. Aion had some large brawls as well, which were a blast.

    WAR was even great. I enjoyed blasting people into lava and using terrain to my advantage.

    Pre-BC I enjoyed WoW PvP as a rogue.

    But all in all, the best PvP I ever played was in a MUD called Medievia. Skill, science, speed, math. It was a blast. Though in retrospect, because everyone could be all 4 classes at once, everyone had daggers at max level for the backstab ability. I guess if I could see this PvP graphically, it wouldn't be that great at all. Fun to play, though. Some zones were PK (standard contested) zones, others CPK (you can loot gear). Getting your gear stripped in that was not cool, as it took work to get it.

    I was going to vote Eve,  but I havn't played it in years.  I then noticed WW2 online, but Havnt played that in years either.  In fact  I havnt played Darkfall or reached the level required to play pvp in Aion.

    I could be wrong but people go directly to this thread to see games are suggested for best pvp.   Having to Vote in order to view the results will mess everything up.  Results can not be accurate do to the fact everything listed has not been sampled by every voter.   A poll should be constructed with an equation allowing the above circumstance to be considered.

    No big deal if you take that into consideration and read the posts under thread when using the information to decide to try something new for pvp.  Eve was a life long game (great game ahead of its time when it came out).  Is it still or did they dumb it down to attract the masses?  thanks

     

    CONCORD reacts faster these days, but T1 ships are so cheap that you actually make a small profit from platimum insurance, so suicide ganking in hi-sec is rife. The 2 big differences I can think of that you might consider "dumbing down" were warp to 0km and the "Alliance P" nerf, when wardeccing was made much more expensive. There sure are lots of ships being lost. I guess EvE is a little easier to start playing now because the tutorial is greatly improved, and new players get a 100% training rate boost to 1.6M SP, and because the game is simply better documented (by players). But dumbed down? No. Other than those things I'd say that the game is if anything better and more complex. Wormhole space alone totally changed the game for thousands of players when CCP added ~2500 systems with no sovereignty and delayed local (you dont show in local unless you speak) that can only be accessed or left by probing out a wormhole - and the wormholes are not permanent at all... if you get stuck in W-space the GMs wont relocate you. The only way out is to self-destruct your pod.

    If you used to play it and enjoy it, you should come and check it out again. The new expansion is out and I think it's the best it's ever been and about to get better.

    2 minutes and 30 seconds of people shooting balls of light at each other?

    And that's what you call better PvP.

    PvP isn't just mass fighting.

    It starts with 1vs1.

    There's no depth in DF combat.

    It's grind skills to purchase the next level of skill and then shoot at a mob of people.

    Lineage 2 has better pvp then DF.

    WoW has better PvP then DF.

    Vanguard has better PvP then DF.

    And Mortal Online blows DF combat away.
