So what you are saying Firemagic is that since you have not had contact you speek for everybody by saying that there are no Gods. Because it sounds like you are doing just that.

Well it's sad that no one else on this site realizes that Atoms and Electrons and Protons are just theorized Entities that Are just place holders for something that we don't yet Totally understand.
Look up "The Schroedinger Equation" and you will find that Scientists aren't sure what electrons are. They are both Waves And Particles. And Scientists cannot find the exact possition of an electron only when an Electron Probably is.
And No silly Dont make me laugh calling me uneducated, when you rebut with 'electron microscope' and you dont even know what it is. An electron microscope shoots a ray or large band of "ELECTRONS" and the reflection is the image obtained. Which at smallest is at the scale of a chromosome.

You still haven't given a rebuttal to my post. All you seem able to do is get extremely confused.
What evidence do you have to suggest that a god might exist, other than a hunch? If you don't have any evidence then we'll have to agree that he doesn't exist and you only pretend he does because you're scared.

I have repeatedly cited fulfilled prophecy, how is this not evidence that God exists?
God promised to disperse the nation of Israel across the globe and then restore them to their own nation, which had been occupied by and is currently surrounded by people intent on their destruction. Israel repelled an invading force of FIVE NATIONS! by themselves IN SIX DAYS! Name another time in history where something similar has happened. How is this not evidence of God?

You seem to be saying, in a roundabout way, that it's just as likely there's a god as any other theory of our origins, because all schools of thought "require faith". This is incorrect.
Faith is essentially "hoping something is true without there being any evidence to suggest it's true". There is no evidence that suggests there's a god, other than weak evidence such as "I feel it in my heart" or "The little boy survived the plane crash when 374 other passengers died. God must have saved him!". There is well-documented, tested evidence that tells us that we evolved. Evolution is a fact (yes, it's called "evolution theory", and it's a tested and proven theory). We can see it in the world around us with very little effort, though the majority of people prefer not to look.
I don't "have faith" that there isn't a god. I am 100% certain, beyond a shadow of a doubt that there isn't a god. The idea is archaic, childish, and ridiculous. We're supposed to be a civilized species and yet we still built our lives around a belief in the supernatural.
"It takes faith to believe in a Loving God in spite of worldly violence and famine." With respect, it doesn't take faith - it takes a complete lack of understanding of simple logic. If "God is love" as the bible tells us, then he is not "1% hate" or "5% anger" or "7% vengeance", he is "100% love". This does not allow for negativity to exist, yet it does. Before you say "you can't have positivity without negativity", isn't god supposed to be omnipotent? Are you telling me there's something he can't do? Of course, we know omnipotence is also a logical fallacy. Can god create a rock that's so heavy he can't lift it?
Anyway, the debate concerning whether or not there's an invisible man in the sky rages on. I usually steer clear of religious arguments as I always come off feeling frustrated at the pigheaded ignorance of what seems to be the majority of people, but this one's been fun.
If you want to learn more about the history of life on our planet, read "The Blind Watchmaker" by Richard Dawkins.
If you want to read a fictional book full of inconsistencies and contradictions with stories of rape, genocide, pedophilia, wrath, hatred and vengeance... read your bible.

I believe that no one knows what there is beyond this life - main reason - we are still in this life. No one knows what happens after we die - not the pope (catholic guy in large funny hat), not the dahli lama, not your mama, not the president, and definatly and for surely not a baptist.

I didn't notice them and didn't read them. I noticed En1gma had posted and since I respect his views (although I disagree with him on a lot of them) I decided to respond.
You're as set in your ways regarding your views on reality as I am in mine. The difference is that my opinions have been formed through years of research and determination, while yours have been formed through years of indoctrination and subservience.
You've also proven to me that you aren't capable of sensible debate, and have no arguments to back up your claim that a god exists, other than the feeble argument that no-one can prove he doesn't exist, which I've debunked more than once in this thread.

I think people that believe in a god are simply afraid of death. They can't handle the fact that when we die we just become another pile of dust in the ground and that's it. Therefore they would rather believe in life after death or reincarnation, etc, etc....

I believe in 'god' in the sense there is a larger focus to this universe that we have yet to understand. As example of what is already been said in this forum, every generation of humans believe they are the peek of existence, and that nothing greater can come. Which is why every generation has a strong percent (10-20%) believe the end of time will come in their existence, due to the fact they cant fathom a further leap in human progression.
I do believe mankind has been around longer than we currently believe simply do to the reasoning that there massive chunks of our history that are missing, starting long before the time of Jesus and up to that point in time.
