Oblivion's and Skyrim's guilds and quests are about the same.
Neither has been able to accomplish what Morrowind did.
So they break even in that regard.
I enjoyed my time in Cyrodiil.
Looking back though, the world was pretty generic. Not terribly designed or technically poor, just boring to look at and explore.
I liked the combat and magic system in Oblivion. No complaints with gameplay really.…
I never thought EA Louse was raving mad.
He is a disappointed gamer.
He's really no different than a lot of us here. Passionate gamers who occassionally exaggerte to get their point across.
This isn't about piracy.
Oh, they want you to believe that, yes. They want to convince people they are out to protect IP and stop copyright infringement with lots of flowery words in that bill.

For me personally, if a game (any game) doesn't hook me within 15 min, I move on.
I shouldn't have to work to find the fun if the game fails to deliver that to me on its own.
Looks like a pretty cool strategic feature.
One thing that was soul crushing while watching that clip though....
I saw exclamation points and question marks over NPC heads.
Originally posted by Mythios11 I don't really understand why people are putting so much faith in GW2 saving the MMO genre. GW1 was OK but didn't really offer anything new besides the subscription model.

Well I'm disappointed.
I thought this was going to be some news on a new feature for GW2; a mini-game of sorts to allow your toon to lose weight, if needed.
Certainly the, *ahem*, larger-than-life toon models in TOR could use a feature like that.
The spirit and essence of what makes an Elder Scrolls game would instantly vanish as soon as it became an MMO.
The same thing would (will) happen to a Fallout MMO, which is why I'm not terribly excited about that project.
The most important part of that review is found in the words written under the 'Value' and 'Lasting Appeal' sections.
That's the red meat of an MMO, and will utlimately determine its long-term success.
Those are the two lowest scores and are ver…
