The will probably end up somewhere between 500k-750k subs.
That's probably the best they can hope for, given the hero engine bugs and how absolutely wretched the PVP is.
Isn't Bioware split into two different camps?
Bioware in Austin and Bioware in Canada? Someone told me that the Canada branch does all the good stuff, like Mass Effect. And Austin does all the crappy games, like SWTOR. Something tells me th…
Mine's not cancelled, but it will be soon enough. Just want to finish the storyline of my character and win the game.
After SWTOR goes in the trash can, I'll be trying out Skyrim (saving it for just such an emergency). Then I'll be moving on…
As it stands, there is zero sense of community in this game.
Server forums would help to a degree, but with the sharding -- I don't think it's ever going to feel like a true MMO.
I imagine most PVPers realize that the game will never delliver on the PVP front.
The majority of players I know who enjoy PVP have already made up their minds to cancel and wait for GW2. Whether or not that game actually delivers too is anyo…
I dunno.
I just think their whole approach to the game and the entire MMO genre was utterly wussified. To quote the Joker -- I think their balls fell off. They want a mama's boy MMO, that you could play with kids the age of Manakin from Epis…

Amazon and few others have dropped the price on SWTOR. You can now purchase it anywhere from 40 USD to 47 USD.
Once steam or any other retailer offers it for $20, I will have…

Well if PvP'ers are supposed to be content with the lack of fun, meaningful PvP the game has, then Bioware can simple kiss goodbye these thousands of subs.
Yup…

I've actually thought x-fire showed a viable survey of gamers.
Obviously, it's not the definitive display of gaming popularity and hours. But as a survey source? It's excellent.

This game has no real PVP and never will. It's a co-op game. Also, it's Bioware, so I thought that was pretty much understood? Just play it like an RPG and cancel…

Digital sales are not counted so i would say above 2 million easily which is very very impressive for a MMORPG. Congrats Bioware.
If true that is very impressive. It seemed like …
Sounds like a hugely successful launch.
I bet they made back a lot on their investment, if not all of it. Whatever they make on subs will probably be gravy. They said they only need 500K to turn a profit.
Which is good. Because that's ho…
