Why you so angry? World Passes are very easy to obtain. It's not a pain in the ass either. Since they are your friends, chat/email/phone the number to them and POW! they in game game with you and everyone lives happily ever after.

I think that the running speed in fine. I was surprised that my little Taru can keep up with the big people. Also, it gives a lot more incentive to check out the chocobo scene when you are cool enough.
