I`m excited about EQ Next as much as anyone but I couldn`t care less about PVP. The sandbox playstyle is what I am interested in. It`s what I liked about EQ1 so much. There was nothing pointing you to go to a certain area. I hope the game turns out …
1) Everquest - 11+ years
2) Everquest 2 - 4 years
3) World of Warcraft - 3 years
4) Vanguard - 2+ years
5) Planetside - 2+ years
The only MMO is still play is Everquest. I have played the others but I always go back to EQ.
Before MMO`s, I played only console and arcade games. I think the last console game I beat was Halo for the X-Box. Then I bought a computer and started Everquest. My X-Box collected dust after I started playing EQ.
Just a update. I`m haveing to re-download the game. Odd that I have to do this but at least I`ll be able to log on again. It`ll put another EQ icon on your desktop. Just use the new one.
I`m not one to race to max lvl either. Like you, I also play for the fun factor. I hope you have fun in your time back in EQ. If you get to the lvl of the expansion Underfoot, the game will change a lot. In Underfoot and House of Thule the mobs will…
I love EQ but I`m currently playing SWTOR. I left EQ right before the new expansion hit. My main was lvl 90 and had 1700+ AA. I just came to realize that I wasn`t going to catch up with the players who have played longer. I wish I could have 5K+ AA …
Your post worries me. Why? Because you bring up good points.
I just want the developers to realize that most people are wanting another game like EQ1. I don`t know if they`re listening though.
A very good post Eqarigon. I agree 100% that the class mechanics should be exactly like EQ1. I would also mention that I prefer Monks being a DPS/Puller type of class rather than a tank class like in EQ2. Even though I left EQ2 with 5 max level toon…
I started playing EQ again about 1 1/2 years ago after a 5 year time off. I think EQ is better now than ever before. I`m certainly haveing more fun now anyways.
I liked DCUO when I was playing it. It just wasn`t worth the $15 per month charge to me though. If the game wasn`t pay to play, I`d go back to it. Until that happens (if ever), I`ll keep pay my $15 per month on EQ.
I can`t really say I was awed, but my most memorable moments came from Everquest and Planetside. With EQ, it was my first MMO. The game just took me away from consoles. To this day, I still play EQ. With Planetside, the insane battles just blew me a…
I`m also one of the people who will be joining on March 1st. Glad these new servers will be there because I know a couple of people who will be playing on the 1st also. I figuere a lot of people didn`t do the headstart.
I can honestly say that Vanguard is my 2nd favorite MMO that I have ever played. The only reason I left was because my first MMO love called me back about a year ago, and that was Everquest. Still, I miss Vanguard at times.
Well, I returned to EQ about a year ago and I`m loving the game. I don`t think I`d be interested in the progression server because there is so much that I haven`t done in the newer zones (my main toon is just lvl 81). I have seen most of the old are…
I`m 45 yrs old but I`m not haveing any trouble with difficulty. I`m likeing the game a lot so far. I am playing on the PS3 though, and I play both console and PC games. To me, the playstyle of DCUO is a nice change and I like the action.
I returned to WoW 3 weeks ago to see the changes in Azeroth. My account had been hacked also. Although I really wasn`t expecting to stay (actually, I`ve already cancelled my subscription), it still pissed me off that the hacking occured. I called Bl…
