They can't open a new shard... even at 25K there is still so much room The galaxy is huge and even at peak hours there are dozens of systems empty of people and then there is the whole Jove space that is still unreachable.

I must say that as far as accessing the database goes all is faster than ever: market, skills, info, politics, corporation info, wallet, hanger, inventory, etc. all those recieved great improvment with the new hardware upgrade.

And at this time , CCP are planning to upgrade EvE servers into more powerful 64-bit clusters with alot more power - so as long as there will be bandwidth EvE should be able to support 30,000 people same time! w0000t ........ btw the problem is real…

Pizzaboy , get the 14 day trial and check for your self , the new tutorials will get you to learn the game as fast as possible (as long as you are not an EQ kid) , plus you wont suffer the need to adapt after the recent major patch (NewWorldOrder)
