Short, simple and sweet - blow stuff up. The rewards are great and it gives Cybertechs something more to do. Provided you don't compare it to JTL and take it for what it is it's very enjoyable.
Nothing discourages grouping provided you are willing to interact with others. Having no random lfg mechanic is MUCH better than those games with one for building community.

After TOR I quit MMOs. No more sword and bored for me. No more horrid communities. I suppose I'm just getting old and grumpy but my tolerance for bull$hit and repeating content is gone.
