  • Meh. If you played LotRO expecting it to have some form of brand new unique gameplay, you should have guessed it would be the same grind as any other MMO out there.
  • Woah, woah, woah.  Someone said WoW has a "rich storyline?" I challenge someone to explain the storyline of WoW. WoW destroyed the majority of the lore in the Warcraft universe.

  • Middle Earth Online was LotRO before it became LotRO. Therefore, the only game that exists out of the 2 is LotRO.

  • Speaking from experience, the trial IS decent. Unfortunately, if you actually have the game, it really goes down hill after you leave the station. I'm not saying you shouldn't go back to SWG, I'm just warning you with my experience.
  • WoW isn't really a bad game. It's a very good game for those who are new to the MMO genre, and I think that can be a good thing. I came up with few cons about the game, but they were enough to get me to lose interest and quit. First up is the rai…

  • I'd have to say PS. I recently went back to SWG on one of the trials. It really hasn't changed much since the NGE hit. If the population has increased, I couldn't tell...
  • So much flaming against LotRO. If you don't like it, don't worry about it?
  • 1. Dark Age of Camelot 2. Pre-CU Star Wars Galaxies 3. World of Warcraft
  • I played DAoC for about 3 1/2 years. It wasn't my first MMO, but it was probably the most fun I've had in an MMO. This was back before all the instances and all that, though. I played UO on and off for about a year and loved the freedom of the ga…
  • Thanks for all the info so far. From everything I've seen so far, I might be joining the Landroval server. RP has always been one of those things that really peaked my interest, so it looks like I may give the "unofficial RP server" a go.
  • I was really attracted to the Warrior Priest, seeing as how I really enjoy playing the Paladin type class in most RPG's. But after a bit of thinking over Warhammer lore, I'll probably be rolling a Dark Elf. Unless, of course, the classes they introd…
  • I was really into WAR, then I saw Paul's videos. Now, I'm pre-ordering it without a doubt.
  • I played it for a while. It wasn't a bad game, just WAY too much of a grind. It takes up a lot of time because of that. I haven't played it in a long time though, so I'm not sure exactly how much has changed. (for the better or worse)
  • First off, starting up a topic like this is just stupid. If you don't like the game, I'm fine with it...but, I'd rather someone tell me how they feel about something when asked. You don't have to try and get attention by "speaking your mind." Sec…
  • Elder Scrolls MMO hands down. Throw in the AI of Oblivion with all the awesome roleplaying elements and freedom, like creating your own classes, and you have yourself a great MMORPG.
  • The game itself has changed. That's the shortest way of saying it.
  • NWN2 all the way. Some of the multiplayer mods for the original were just awesome, same goes for singleplayer. DDO just wasn't my thing anyway.
  • It's best to go for classic servers. The only content you'll be missing from the normal servers is the Trials of Atlantis content, which is for high end characters anyway.
