SWGNGE might as well be a single player game.
Don't really need anyone for anything. Everyone gets 2 toons a server, one combatant, one crafter to sell loot and make the very few things a person even needs. Play jedi…
Yeah the game as it was originally was great, sure it needed some bug fixes here and there and some balancing out, but the community was great. I loved going into cantinas and resting after a hunt, chatting with other players and forming yet anothe…
It was a big experiment, and we were the guinea pigs. Really, why would someone have a published game then promptly pull the rug from under their player base with the NGE - totally changing the entire dynamics of the game.
You can Google to get a fairly in depth explanation as to what happened, and also various takes on what is known as the NGE. Basically I loved the game from 2003 up until the NGE hit. I could even tolerate the CU era, but the NGE was just horrible…
I always had hoped they would add weapons like the concussion rifle, and rail detenator to the commando profession. Maybe other classes could use them too, but those weapons just screamed commando - and had been established in other games. Instead…
Wonder if there's a dev card, which nerfs all your abilities.
Pretty strange idea, especially this late in the game. May have been cooler had they done this earlier, like during the CU or something.
I really loved the first time I got into my ship. Very "Star Warsy" moment for me, the first "Star Warsy" moment would be the very first time I logged into the game, and I heard all these weird alien voices around me - wookies, rodians, etc. and o…
Awesome stuff. I really miss the old game, seeing all these posts just made me remember why I loved this game so much. The interesting thing is you can see the gradual decline that happened in SWG, starting with the holocron grind. Which I never …
The coolest thing I remember was logging in for the first time back in June of 2003, and right when I spawned I had all these people around me speaking in strange tongues. It felt very Star Warsy, had Wookies grunting and growling, had Rodians spea…
The long treks to Jabba's palace were certainly interesting. No speeders, had to make the trek from Anchorhead to Wayfar by foot. If you got killed either on the way to Jabba's, or if you got killed while doing one of the missions you spawned all …
Yeah I loved the old TEF system. I was very loyal to SWG from the beginning, even through the CU and (like most) left with the NGE. But the original TEF system I thought was pretty cool. Whenever I was grinding for faction points (for rank primar…
Yeah, I remember my first time logging in the game. June of 2003. Ahazi has always been the server I've played on, and my starting planet was Talus, logging in and Nashal was packed with people. Went into the wilderness and got owned by a crazed …
If you are apart of a faction you are apart of a military orginization. In all fairness if you are a bounty hunter, you wouldn't want to be in a faction (or military) because basically you are going to be playing both sides of the fence anyway, and…
No need to do all that, SOE is doing a fine job in destroying the game and the community anyway. If I didn't know better I'd say the screw ups are intentional, you know, kind of like that one employee that WANTS to get fired?
Console gamers would tear this game apart. If this game gets released for PS3 with the amount of bugs it has now, and probably more by the time the PS3 is released if the SWG trend continues the way it has since it was released, then this game will…

Yes it would be disgusting in retrospect, but tell me that none of you have ever dated a girl and kissed her then found out you were cousins on some level. Yeah you get wierded out but at the time it was no big deal cause…
