I have to disagree on the grouping issue the OP state.
When I play a MMORPG, I don't like to be force to do somthing, in this case, force to group with others.
The success of WoW just shows how many people in the world like to be forced to do so…

o yes, this may clear something up. WAR got cancel in June 2004 due to the expense and the project revive in 2005 may.
does the dates look familiar? yes, 2005 is the year where WoW took over the MMO…
not going to start a flame war but I will just point out my point of view last time
there is no question that Warcraft's art and background storys are inspired by Warhammer. Yet as far as Warhammer goes they created a single player game with the…

those who complain that the gears they spend months to get will be useless when expansion come out should get a life. People arent suppose to play that hard and give up their life at the first place anyway...

best pvp mmo I can think of right now is...... probably Eve. but does it mean it's very good? no..
one bad thing about most mmorpg is pvp is only fun when the game just release. Lineage 2 is like this, WoW is like this, Eve, Daoc, you name it. Ye…
360 is going to kick ps3's ares!!!
o wait am I in the wrong forum? Sorry, all these topics look the same anyway
and the Op is stupid enough to not know the company who make WAR is the one who made DAOC
the op was thinking about pvp first..... so let's talk about what class is good at pvp
note that I quit wow long before BC came out, but I am still pretty decent in pvp
first, if you want to focus on pvp, paladin probably will not be a good choi…
darkfall can never implement the real time fighting they were talking about with a company size like this..... you guys who think they could pull it off just doesn't know how difficult it is to problem this feature for a mmorpg. AoC is already havin…
while entertaining to read what people wrote in the forum, why the hell people have to bash one game because they support anohter game?
Just because AoC won the awards, it doesn't mean WAR is worse. Nor it means AoC doesn't deserve the award

I am not sure how will the future of f2p mmorpg will turn out, but for now, most of them are really bad
First, let's stand on the business' point of view. Maintaining a mmorpg is totally different from making a single player game or fps. Sure ther…
personally i dont care if it's fantasy or sci-fi. It is how the dev put together the world that makes the game fun...
sadly after the failure of SWG, not many investors will invest too much money to create a scifi mmo. The demographic of scifi mm…
time- it's a game that takes you very long to level. botting is the only way to let you catch up with others without giving up your life. yes, there are a lot of bots in L2. o yes it will also take you alot of time to make money to gear up
fun- it…
it's not that pvp games = fail... you can't say pvp games will fail because of one game.
SB at the begining is very fun to play with even with its ffa open pvp thing. Yet its system is failing now because
1. there aren't enough players to fit t…
it's a very different game.
almost all your actions in the game are done in instance that only allows a small ammount of people to join. the town acts as a 3d chat room to find partys, and you will never encounter strangers fighting in the wild w…
DDO sux because it doesn't deserve a monthly pay. There, I answered your questions
DDO is very fun when you just start playing. Grouping for a dungeon is fun. Yet.....DDO is NOT a mmorpg. It bascially has the same style as diablo1/2 or guildwars. …
