For me, it would be Blizzard. The only game I liked from them was "the lost vikings". Except for that, I found all their games to be severely overrated and boring.
Other than Blizzard...well...SOE won't ever get my money again.

For me the problem with WAR is WoW already came out and does everything WAR does but better and all your friends are already playing WoW and as everyone knows games are more fun when you play with friends.

thanks for the replies
I think I'll resub AOC as my off-game to change my mind from WAR once in a while.
I've loved the game since the start, even with all its' bugs...

I think it will stay more or less the same.
What it will do however, is attract people to the MMO business (judging from the warhammer players in my neighbourhood)
Well, maybe the open beta only allows testing up to 20, but during the beta-testing, the high level content has been subnject to testing by players, so I wouldn't worry about much.

Agree, but after last tweaks ML and artifacts are not that bad. Most MLs you can do in 1-3 hours and you need much less people then before. Artifacts are now BG doable, so people raid them - and it's very fast, in 4 hou…
Personnally, I'm more inclined towards fantasy than 40k. Sure 40k has some cool stuff (Imperial guard ftw! ), but the background on Warhammer Fantasy is so much better, imho.
Personnally, I find most of 40k's factions to be boring and/or ugly.

Daoc Paladins have one hell of a defense, but they hit with wet towels
Simply put, they tend to be sword/shield specialized. Add that to the tin cans they wear and it gets very hard to hit them.
They have access to shield spells, a damage add, …
That's were WoW really shines, as a game for the casual player.
Now, as for the new content that will be added:
- There will be 2 new player races, not 4 as somebody said (Blood Elves, and Pandaren)
- New level cap is 70, not 80
